SB Fest & Wonder

A note from the University of Nottingham:

Our Wonder event is hosted at University Park but for that day any resident of Kegworth is welcome to use the Hopper Bus free of charge for their travel to and from the event.

'SB Fest' is predominantly organised by the Student Guild and is open to the whole community.

SB Fest welcomes all to a fun-filled family-friendly day of music, food, science activities, games and more. The 5th annual SB Fest takes place on Sunday 19th May 2019 at Sutton Bonington Campus, from 2pm until 10pm.

As usual, all profits from our event will be supporting the local hospice charity LOROS, and we will also be supporting a local branch of the Riding for the Disabled charity, who will be bringing along some of their four-legged friends for you to meet on the day!

Due to its popularity at SBF18, we have brought back the SB Fest Dog Show, so be sure to bring along your pooches to compete for the title of "Cutest Puppy" "Best Dressed" and "Best in Show" among others. We have partnered once again with Wicked Hathern and Needle and Pin breweries to provide a beer and cider festival, including a specially-brewed cider exclusively for SB Fest.

The infamous SB Farmers Market will be open from 2pm and our visitors are able to purchase hot food, local produce, and find out about local craftspeople.

Talented youngsters from local schools will be taking part in an art competition, so be sure to come and see their entries.

Our visitors will be entertained throughout the day by our talented musicians from a number of student bands and ensembles from the SB Music Society, including the annual Sutton Bonington Symphony Orchestra and Singers Concert.

There is something for everyone at SB Fest 2019, and with tickets being only £5 per person with under 12s attending for free, you don't want to miss out!
